White Rustic Timber Planks is a whitewashed timber backdrop with wide boards, visible grain and knots showing through a worn white finish. The paint is uneven in places, so the wood reads as aged rather than freshly painted.

Whitewashed timber is the workhorse of lifestyle food photography. It keeps a shot bright the way a white surface does, but the grain gives warmth and texture that plain white cannot.
