Refund and returns policy

We want you to feel confident ordering from vinylbackdrops.com.au. This policy is written to be fair, clear, and simple.

Standard backdrops (non-custom designs)

If you’ve ordered a standard, non-custom backdrop and it’s not right for your setup, you can request a return or exchange within 14 days of delivery.

Conditions:

  • The backdrop must be unused, clean, and in original condition.

  • It must be returned rolled, not folded.

  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

Once we receive and inspect the item, you can choose:

  • An exchange for another standard design or size, or

  • A refund to your original payment method, excluding original shipping costs.

This exists for first-time buyers who need confidence when ordering online.

Custom printed backdrops

Custom backdrops are printed to your specifications and cannot be returned or exchanged for a change of mind.

If there is a fault or printing error, we’ll fix it. That’s on us.

Faulty or damaged items

If your backdrop arrives damaged or has a manufacturing fault, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos.

If the issue is confirmed, we’ll arrange a replacement or refund in line with Australian Consumer Law.

Colour and texture variation

All backdrops are professionally printed, but slight colour variation can occur between screens and printed vinyl. This is normal and not considered a fault.

If you’re unsure, we recommend starting with a standard design or contacting us before ordering.

Consumer guarantees

This policy does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major fault, you are entitled to a replacement or refund.

How to request a return

Email support@vinylbackdrops.com.au with your order number and a short explanation. We’ll respond quickly and clearly.
