Honed Concrete Vinyl Photography Backdrops

Honed Concrete is the lightest surface in the concrete range. Ground smooth, almost no visible aggregate, just soft cloudy mottling that shifts gently across the sheet with a faint natural fall-off toward the edges. It behaves less like a texture and more like a very quiet backdrop with depth, which is the point.

Use it when you want the product to carry the whole frame. The pale, near-white tone bounces light back into the subject, so shadows stay open and detail holds on the underside of things without a reflector. That makes it a strong choice for jewellery, glassware, skincare, white or pale packaging, ceramics, and any e-commerce listing that needs a clean background with more life than flat white.

Within the range it sits at the light end. Honed is the softest and palest, Light Grey Concrete gives you more visible texture, Pressed Concrete adds board-formed lines and warmth, and Dark Side is the moody end. Honed is the one to reach for when the surface should almost disappear.

Printed in Australia on 450GSM matte vinyl. Fully waterproof, so spills, oil and condensation wipe straight off with a damp cloth. The matte finish means no hotspots and no glare, whether you are shooting under a window or with strobes.

Choosing your size

900mm x 600mm. Single plates, bowls, flat lays and individual product shots. The size most people start with.

1200mm x 900mm. Full spreads, table scenes, grouped products, and 45 degree angles that see more surface.

1800mm x 1200mm. Floor to wall setups and larger lifestyle work.
